Description
Available from Now till the end of November.
This room is open to couples but at a £250 increase
Affectionately known by locals as “Stokey”, the north London neighbourhood is surrounded by green space with the much-loved Clissold Park, small independent shops and the only solely organic farmers’ market in the country on Stoke Newington High Street all 5 minutes walking distance from the house.
With plenty of outdoor space, a fireplace and 3 floors of space to activate a bounty of celebration for the new year oncoming.
The house
Our house is in a lovely bustling, yet quiet, part of Stoke Newington, close to Clissold Park and Newington Green. The house is spacious and full of character with a communal lounge, dining room, and green backyard with a garden (including hammocks, and a fire pit, movement/area, which we use regularly!).
We are transitioning into a regenerative intentional community, with a small 'c'. We invest in communal hygiene, sharing circles, and communal dinners and will host gatherings, poetry, and music evenings, and other interesting events in the home. If you have a cultural appetite, this home is definitely for you.
We have a large double room available with all the basics: desk, chairs, hallway closet and dresser.
The room is approximately £1,100 for rent and bills. We are considering both short / long term options. We also have a small monthly house fund of £20 that contributes to supplies and emergency situations.
Our vision and values
Our vision for our home is one that invites new ways of living together by having a place to practice ways of relating and organising that we’d love to see more widely in the world. This means having sharing spaces, organising gatherings, cooking for each other, and putting ongoing attention to how we wish to live together.
Who you’re sharing with
You'll be sharing with a wellbeing practitioner, a therapist, and a regenerative culture designer and regenerative farmer. Our age range is 27-42yrs and is open to people roughly across that spread.
About you
Our wish is to invite in another human who shares the vision and values above and who, ideally, has lived in a community setting before or has a strong desire to do so.
Please let us know in your message to us what resonates with you about living here, and any experience you have of living in shared / intentional or communal spaces.
