Description
Our place is perfect for someone who wants to make a real homely home in the city!
Move in dates are flexible - please do not hesitate to ask.
The housemate:
We’re looking for a friendly female housemate (late 20s to 30s) who will enjoy a calm, welcoming house. We would like people who are tidy and respectful of the space, and enjoy spending time together in the shared areas.
The Location:
This house is on a quiet road that feels very safe. You can easily walk to nearby shops, bakeries, etc. In about 10 minutes walking you can be at Clissold Park and Church Street, or Newington Green. In 15 minutes you can get to vibrant bars, restaurants etc in Dalston. A 15 minute bike ride will take you to Finsbury Park or Highbury and Islington. There are a couple of stations within 15 minutes walking (incl Dalston Junction). The closest bus stop is about a 5 minute walk, and regular buses will also take you easily into central, and around London.
The House:
- A large open kitchen area which is great for hosting, with an AGA (keeping the basement nice and warm in the winter), a central dining table, plenty of fridge/cupboard space, dishwasher etc. We share kitchenware, so no need to buy anything!
- The lounge with sofa and armchairs, perfect for cosy movie nights.
- A large garden with a big patio and barbecue, great for summer.
- Incredible bathroom with central standalone bath, and separate spacious shower.
- A bright study with lots of additional storage, housemates rarely work from home.
- Front gate that can fit a few bikes!
- Parking, optional permit costs about £12 a month. Visitor permits can also be purchased.
The Bedroom:
HUGE bedroom, with big windows and high ceilings, giving lots of daylight. Warm and cosy in the winter. Situated on the first floor next to the bathroom. Please note that the bedroom is unfurnished, but there are built in cupboards and shelves, and would be happy to sell wardrobe to anyone moving in (very cheaply).
The Landlords:
We work directly with the landlords (no agents), they always sort things out very quickly. It was their previous family home, so they take genuine care into this property.
Other Monthly Costs (per person):
Council Tax: £59.25
Gas and electric: £73
Cleaner: £25 (comes fortnightly).
Internet: £10.75
If you've made it this far, please do get in touch and tell me all about yourself and what you're looking for.
Looking forward to meeting you!
