Stoky summer sublet

My lovely housemate Georgi is away this summer and offering his fabulous en-suite for the months of July, August and September.

THE DATES
1st of July 2025 until 30th September 2025

THE ROOM
Very spacious with a Juliette balcony and a ceiling at 3.5m height. There is a double bed as well as a desk and comfortable chair if you’re working from home. The en-suite bathroom is small with a toilet and shower, no bath tub.

The wardrobe and a whole chest of drawers will be cleared for your convenience but please mind that some of Georgi’s belongings will stay in the room. Bed sheets, duvet and towels will be provided.

THE BILLS:
The room costs £1150, including all bills and Wifi. This also includes paying our cleaner who comes every other Friday to clean communal spaces. Please pay 2 months upfront (for July & Aug) and September rent can be paid at the beginning of August.

THE APARTMENT:
The flat is located on a lovely leafy street 3 minutes walk from Stoke Newington overground station. It’s a 5 minute walk from Church Street with loads of cute restaurants, independent shops and health food stores. It’s a similar distance to a major bus stop where 4-5 buses pass regularly down to Dalston, up to Seven Sisters or Finsbury Park. Abney Park Cemetery is on the doorstep and leafy Clissold Park is only 15 minutes walk away.

The kitchen is spacious and has a range of shared items to cook with. The garden is a relaxed and quiet get-away. The lounge has two couches and a huge open space to relax and unwind.

Please note our landlord lives 2 doors down and this sublet has been approved by him.

Current household:
Misha is in his mid-30’s and working in film & marketing. He enjoys coffee, comedy and going to the gym. In the summer he balances time at home and travelling for work.
I (Sara) am 45 and have a career in special needs teaching. I’m often home for part of the day but enjoy going out most evenings. I enjoy theatre, singing in choir, burner events, psychology and folk music gigs. I also love building my Stoke Newington community and gathering friends together for local dinners, pub quizzes, coffee and park hangouts.

We’re looking for someone friendly and respectful who tidies up after themselves and is noise sensitive. We tend to be late risers in the morning and enjoy sleeping in. We respect each others space and needs in the house, but enjoy having chats in the kitchen and lounge when we’re there at the same time. Occasional guests are very welcome for dinner or drinks at a reasonable hour. Smoking is fine if outside in the garden/front of property.
