Looking for a Lovely New Housemate in Stokey

We’ve got a room going in our bright 3-bed, 1-bathroom, two-storey flat with a backyard — just 5 minutes walk from Rectory Road Overground and a quick stroll to Church Street’s cafes, pubs and shops.

The room is a sunny double overlooking the garden, and comes furnished with a bed, clothes rail, chest of drawers and a chair.

You’d be living with Lorna (32) — a fashion stylist who will happily tell you why Cork is better than Dublin — and Shadi (29), a filmmaker from Australia who won’t stop talking about movies. We’re both sociable when we have the energy, but our jobs can be demanding, so we also value our own space. We like to keep the flat clean, calm and welcoming — it’s very much a home.

We’re looking for a female around our age who’s tidy, considerate and easy-going, and ideally doesn’t work from home, as there’s no space for a desk in the bedroom.

📦Move-in date: 9th November (no flexibility on this)

Rent is £748.34 pcm/month, Deposit is £730, bills approx £100/month.

We also have a fortnightly cleaner which is £20/month. Hackney council tax band D. One year left on lease - very likely to renew in Feb 2026.
