Cosy double room in Stoke Newington

This cosy 3-bedroom flat is just a stone's throw from the cafes, bakeries and restaurants of Church Street, in the heart of Stoke Newington.

It is a short walk from the beautiful Clissold Park. There is also a gym nearby, and a bus stop about 100m away that has routes going direct to King's Cross, Angel and into the city. Stoke Newington Overground is only an 8 minute walk. If you commute by bicycle, you would be served by one of the best (nearly car-free) cycling routes into central London.

The move-in date for the room is the 1st of November. Great size and well-lit with large floor-to-ceiling windows and a juliet balcony - great in the summer. The room comes furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a night stand and a table. You will only be sharing a bathroom with one other person. The flat has an excellent open-plan kitchen and living room, with a (very comfy!) L-shaped sofa and an armchair - perfect for relaxing after a long day at work. We also have a couple of storage cupboards in the hall. The flat is a modern one so it’s easy to heat it during the winter.

You will be sharing the flat with Joe, a British 2nd Assistant Director working on exciting new TV shows & movies and Ivan, a computer nerd working at one of London’s tech startups. We are in our early 30s and have excellent taste in music, culture and the arts. We’ve made this flat our home and look after it well. We’re looking for a housemate who’s tidy, respectful and equally invested in keeping the flat a relaxed and cosy place for all of us. Someone who is friendly, up for a movie night over a glass of wine or relaxing together in the evening after work while listening to an album, someone who is looking for more than a room in a flatshare in London.

Bills come to around £120-150 pcm. This includes internet, heating/electricity, council tax, TV licence and household items. The building has a lift, external security doors to the communal foyer, and bicycle storage in the gated car park.
