Cozy room in spacious Stokey houseshare

THE ROOM:
The room is a cozy partly-furnished double in a spacious 3 bedroom ground floor flat. There’s a double wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, and space under the bed frame so you’ll have lots of storage space. There are new blackout blinds and a nice view overlooking the garden. There is a king sized bed frame but no mattress (the previous housemate will be taking hers.) You’ll need to provide your own mattress or negotiate with the landlord about providing one. The bedroom heats up quickly and stays warm during the night.

THE LOCATION:
The flat is located on a lovely leafy street 3 minutes walk from Stoke Newington overground station. It’s a 5 minute walk from Church Street with loads of cute restaurants, independent shops and health food stores. It’s a similar distance to a major bus stop where 4-5 buses pass regularly down to Dalston, up to Seven Sisters or Finsbury Park. Abney Park Cemetery is on the doorstep and leafy Clissold Park is only 15 minutes walk away.

COMMUNAL SPACE:
The kitchen is spacious and has a range of shared items to cook with. The garden is a relaxed and quiet get-away. The lounge has two couches and a huge open space to relax and unwind.

You’ll be sharing a bathroom/shower & toilet with one other person as the other flatmate has his own en-suite.

The Flatmates:
You will be living with 2 guys in their mid-30’s to early 40’s, both working hybrid.

Georgi works as a creative and is into climbing, kite surfing, cooking, and chats over a glass of wine.

Misha works in film. He enjoys studying languages, travels frequently and appreciates good coffee when he’s not out on a shoot.

We respect each others space in the house, but enjoy having chats in the kitchen and lounge when we’re there at the same time.

THE BILLS:
The room costs £750. Additional bills average around £150-200 a month depending on the season. This includes paying to have our communal spaces cleaned every other Friday. The landlord will require a deposit of 5 weeks rent up front to be put into the deposit scheme.

We’re looking for someone friendly and respectful who tidies up after themselves. Would be great if you’re up for taking on the responsibility of some bills and making an effort to look after the house and garden. Occasional guests are very welcome for dinner or drinks at a reasonable hour but this isn’t a party house.
