Looking for two flatmates to move in asap!
We've got two gorgeous furnished double bedrooms available in our 4-bed stokey house.
About the rooms:
The rooms are furnished with a wardrobe and a double bed. You can fit a desk in it if you want, but there is also a big desk in the living room that people use as a wfh space.
About the house:
The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 shared bathrooms and a large living room, all spread across 3 floors.
It's quite a modern house which has been redone recently so the bathrooms, paint etc... all look new. It keeps very warm in the winter which is a major plus! Overall the house is comfortable and spacious so it doesn't feel like we're all on top of each other.
The living room has a big desk where two people can work if you want/need to work from home.
The street is quiet and mainly residential. You have a lovely bakery just underneath the house, a pub round the corner and a yoga studio down the road.
It's an 8-min walk from Newington Green with lots of buses towards Highbury & Islington, Waterloo, London Bridge and Farringdon.
10-min walk to Dalston Kingsland overground and 15-min to Dalston Junction where you have lots of shops, bars and restaurants.
Admin details: We're looking for people to move in as early as November 30th (granted all the referencing is done and deposit paid). Our current tenancy ends December 4th so we're looking for people who would be ready to sign into a new 12-months contract. You can exit the tenancy at any point with a 1-month notice and the responsibility to find a replacement. It's a joint contract but everyone is responsible for their own rent, deposit, and share of the bills.
About the housemates:
I'm the only current flatmate staying for a new tenancy because I really like the house! I work as a multimedia producer, mainly in the office and generally like to be out and about. There is another flatmate moving in at the end of November, a 26-year-old Australian guy who works as a software engineer.
Our vibe for the house and the future housemate: peaceful and respectful towards each other when it comes to cleaning and noise, open for a chat and hanging out but you also have your own social life going on outside. Welcome to have some friends over for dinner or movie nights, but not really a house for afters.
