Description
Hi everyone! A bright and spacious double room is becoming available in our lovely Stoke Newington flat. Rent is £800 per month, with bills included (excluding the cleaner). We were supposed to have someone taking the room but they dropped out last minute.
We have a cleaner who comes once a week and does a brilliant job. The cost is £8 per person per week (£40 total).
The room will be available from the 16th November, with a new lease starting on 30th November.
The Room 🛌
• Furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a large mirror. The room also comes with a small desk & chair.
• Bright and comfortable, perfect for working from home or relaxing.
The Flat 🏠
The flat is shared with four wonderful housemates. It’s really important to us that the new person is a good fit, as this is a warm and welcoming home 🩷
Current flatmates:
• Jake (28, he/him) – From Australia, works as a project officer. Loves gaming and is a big foodie.
• Mag ( :), 27, she/her) – Lecturer and photographer, also into gaming. Italian
• Joel & Louis – Currently living here but also be moving out in November, so there will be two additional new housemates joining.
Everyone is a mix of WFH and in-office, so the flat is rarely busy at the same time. We enjoy hanging out together, from beers at home to exploring the many great pubs nearby. Dalston is only a 20-minute walk away and is a favourite spot for the queer housemates.
🏳️🌈 This is a queer-friendly home.
The flat has a large kitchen with a dishwasher and a comfy couch that doubles as a living room space. While it’s not a full living room, the “Great Wall of Stuff” and disco lights give it plenty of personality! It is also above a shop , which is great for late night food runs!
The Area 🦚
• Excellent location with a bus stop just 1 minute away (including night buses).
• Church Street is super safe and full of cafes, pubs, and shops.
• Clissold Park is practically our back garden.
Tenancy Details
• new contract to start on the 1 December
• Deposit approx. £620 (to be confirmed with the agency). Deposit will be paid directly to me, as I did the same to the previous tenant, and then it will re secured by the agency in the tenancy deposit scheme.
• Please note: the flat is not wheelchair accessible (second floor with two staircases, plus steps at the entrance and bathroom corridor).
Agency Requirements
• Previous landlord reference.
• Minimum annual income: £20,900.
• No CCJs.
• Full-time, permanent employment.
📩 If you’re interested, please send me a message with a few lines about yourself.
