Room In Stoke Newington

The flat:

The flat is in an ideal Stoke Newington location, 2 minute walk from Clissold park. 15 mins from Manor House, Stoke Newington, and Finsbury Park. The flat has got a really nice vibe, quite difficult to capture in pictures. Im pretty sure it was freshly painted before we moved in. Kitchen living room all in one. Both bedrooms are really decent sizes, one is a bit bigger/ nicer than the other. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's space for bikes in the building too. It's a really quiet flat, with the room being at the very back so the most quiet.

The flat will be partially furnished when you move in, I can go into detail about what's staying and going over a FaceTime. Ideally looking for someone who doesn't mind chipping in for a sofa, and the bedroom is missing a wardrobe. To be honest that's it. Any kitchen stuff is really helpful too.

You will also have to do reference and credit checks with Phillips Estates, it's a fairly easy process, and then you will be on the lease.

In general this is an amazing flat, I've lived here since September 2024 and really love it. My current flatmate sadly has to move home but has also loved living here.

About me:

I'm a queer artist, I work in hospitality and am doing a masters at UCL Slade. I'm a pretty sociable person, I like having people round for dinner, going for coffee, going to gallery openings, going to the pub and clubbing. I also like yoga, running and generally always up for trying anything new. I like to have a flatmate I can hang out with, but also like my own space sometimes. I'm clean and organised, and like to keep the space feeling homely and nice to come back to.

Ideal flatmate for me:

Im ideally looking for someone who shares interests in art, hospitality, fitness, cooking and is either queer themselves or an ally. Being clean is important to me, the flat is really easy to keep clean so it should be fine. Also someone who has similar tastes when it comes to decorating would be fab.
