Large Double in Stoke Newington - Bills Included

Hello! We’re looking for someone to rent a room in our Stokey house. The house is 8 minutes from Stoke Newington overground, located close to shops, restaurants, pubs and bars on Church Street and Stoke Newington High Street. We’re also very close to Stoke Newington common and Abney Park so there’s plenty of green spaces and the buses are good too.

The house is split over three floors and has a lovely big garden. We have a living room/dining room, a compact but functional kitchen, a main bathroom, a shower room, and a separate downstairs toilet plus attic storage. The house is non-smoking, but you can smoke in the back garden, away from the windows. We have a big TV and dining table in our living room and all bills are included.

The room:
The room is huge with high ceilings and two windows looking out onto the garden. It comes partly furnished with a bed and wardrobe (although wardrobe is just shelves inside), so plenty of space for decorating!

The move in date is mid February

The housemates
You will be sharing with 5 housemates- Freya, Alex, James, Ilya, and Soshana. From a range of countries, so all are welcome, and we’re LGBTQ+ friendly. We’re all young professionals working on different schedules, so sometimes you might go days without seeing anyone, and other times we’re all in the house together.

We’re a quiet house who really respect each other’s privacy and space, and the house has a laid-back vibe. It’s not a party house, and we are really looking for someone who treats this house like a home. That means cleaning up your dishes, pitching in with the cleaning rota, and respecting each others’ space and belongings.

You
We’re looking for a housemate around 27-40 (we’re all in that age range ourselves). You should be tidy, respectful, willing to pitch in with jobs and cleaning, and easy-going. Living with 5 other people can be stressful for some, you should be flexible and willing to compromise. The room isn’t suitable for couples as there’s already enough people in the house.
