Description
We are looking for a solvent, clean, considerate, responsible person that wants to be part of a household. No students, couples, or party people.
Our household consists of:
Scott - Art technician, loves a charity shop crawl
Lucy - Florist, keen gardener & puzzle doer
Yvette - Fashion product developer, obsessed with cats
Henderson - Yvette's cat, very good at napping
We are in all in our mid 30s to 40s. We like to chill at home watching crap TV together most evenings. Occasionally we have a bbq or dinner party, but it's not a party house.
The room is a large double on the third floor with high ceilings, built in storage, and a large sash window overlooking the back garden. Approx size 4x4m2, unfurnished.
The house is a Victorian terrace, clean and bright with a big back garden that has a veg patch & bbq. It gets loads of sun in summer. There is a separate living room and kind of an office room, main bathroom with a shower / bath / toilet, and a second toilet downstairs.
The local area is quiet, and quite family oriented. There are many great pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops, and Clissold park & Abney Park are close by. Easy walking distance to Dalston nightlife. The house is approx. 10 mins from either Stoke Newington or Rectory Road Overground stations and loads of buses run down to Dalston or up towards Seven Sisters for the Victoria line into town.
Our housemate that is moving is semi-flexible on moving dates. Ideally will be end of March / beginning of April.
The rent is £975 per month plus bills, around £135 each. This covers gas, elec, water, internet, fortnightly cleaner and shared house supplies.
Total rent inc bills = £1,110
Deposit £1,125
Agency fee of £75 +VAT
Your wage is required by the rental agency to be min 2.5 x the room's yearly rent
The agency will provide the successful applicant with forms for reference checks and will also need a copy of your passport, and you will join the lease.
