Description
Hello! We’ve got a double bedroom in our new 3-bed maisonette in Stoke Newington/Dalston (N16), split across the top 2 floors of the townhouse in the 2nd pic. It’s a 1 min walk to Stoke Newington High Street, 5 mins to Hackney Downs, 5 mins to Rectory Road Overground.
The bedroom is big (can easily fit a lot more than a bed/wardrobe in there, so you can make it homey - it’s south-facing (lots of natural sunlight), and it’s on the top floor.
The place is really nice and has just been done up by the landlord so fresh paint and flooring. It’s got a private entrance up from the street, hallway on the ground floor for bike storage etc, and then a massive kitchen and a separate very large living room.
About us:
You’d be living with (Alex, 28, work in climate and music in a few different roles) and myself (Hannah, 25, works in music). Alex and I have been mates for a few years now but we haven’t moved into this place yet! We move in 4th April. So we’re looking for someone who wants to join us.
We both love music, art, film, food, seeing gigs, doing fun creative stuff. We occasionally go out with the intention of partying but mostly are very wholesome, and want this space to be a calm and fun creative sanctuary from London.
We have a vision for this place. Think: records, plants, a projector instead of a TV, good food, a herb garden etc. We’re looking for someone especially lovely who’s into this vibe! We’re not looking for anyone who just wants to share a place and be passing ships, basically. Ofc, we all like our own space too - goes without saying. I’m out a lot seeing gigs/friends, and Hannah is similar.
FYI that the flat is coming from the landlord as unfurnished (which is why it looks a bit empty in the pic) but this room will be furnished by move in, and we are already planning all the furniture to go in the flat. I’ve got a bunch already for communal spaces (big couch, long dining table etc). But yeah, we will make sure this room has a bed and mattress in it at the least for whoever moves in :) if you have nice stuff to contribute, even better!
P. S. the 3rd pic I mocked up from an interior design app - envisioning what the living room will hopefully look/feel like. The 4th pic is the living room currently, but its gonna be so nice. In the final pic floor plan, it’s Bedroom 1.
If you think this sounds like it’s a good fit get in touch.
