Room in Stoke Newington flat :)

Hello! I’m looking for a housemate to join me in a lovely two-bed flat in Stoke Newington.

The flat belongs to one of my best pals, who I’ve been living with here for the past year, but she’s now moving to Australia, so we’re looking for someone to take her room. She’ll still be the landlord, so it’s a nice setup with someone I know and trust.

The flat: It’s a lovely two-bed flat with a shared living room, kitchen and bathroom. I’ve really enjoyed living here and would love to find someone who’ll make it their home too.

Location: It’s in an amazing spot in Stoke Newington, about a 5-minute walk from Clissold Park and lovely Church Street, with loads of great pubs, cafés and restaurants nearby. West Reservoir is about a 10-minute walk away if you fancy a dip, and Stoke Newington Overground is a quick walk from the flat. There’s also a short bus to Finsbury Park for the Victoria and Piccadilly lines.

A bit about me: I’m 32 and work in social impact, currently in the office Tues-Thurs. Outside of work I’m usually hanging out with friends, going for drinks, and am into music, gigs and festivals. That said, my heavy going-out days are mostly behind me 😂 I’m much more into a nice pub, dinner or a chilled night at home these days. I also try to get some balance with the gym, cycling, swimming and yoga, and I love reading and travelling. I’m quite sociable in life, but like to keep the flat as a relatively chill space.

The vibe: I’m looking for a chill, respectful, tidy and considerate housemate who has their own life and routine but is also happy to hang out now and then 😊 I’d like the flatshare to feel friendly, and I’m up for sometimes going for a drink, cooking dinner or watching something together, but also giving each other our own space. As it’s a fairly cosy flat, I’m ideally looking for someone who’s looking for a home for themselves rather than a couple.
