Double room in lovely Stoke Newington

A lovely, garden facing double bedroom is available to rent from mid October in a large period property in Stoke Newington.

You would be sharing with Margherita, Dylan and Moa. We didn’t know each other before moving here, but we’ve become great friends and enjoy spending time together. We also have our own circles outside and have busy personal lives.

We are looking for a professional woman, enby or trans identifying person (age 31-38), who is sociable, tidy and looking for a home instead of just a generic houseshare. Our home is an inclusive, respectful, LGBTQI+ space, so we are looking for someone who shares those values too.

THE HOUSE AND AVAILABLE ROOM -

The house is very spacious and comfy. It has a light and airy living room with a lot of plants, a good sized kitchen, and one bathroom. Together we keep the house organised, clean and tidy. We have a rotating cleaning schedule, and all pitch in to keep it a peaceful and calm space. We also have a lovely garden, which is perfect for summer evenings and great if you have a green thumb!

The double room available is on the top floor, with a garden facing window. The rent is £630 per month, and bills are approximately £120 (slightly higher in the winter). The deposit is £778.75. The room comes unfurnished, but there’s the possibility to purchase the wardrobe seen in the pics.
We are exactly between Stokey and Dalston - both accessible within a 10 minute walk from the house! We are spoiled with our location and take advantage of all the cafes, pubs and restaurants that are at our doorstep :)

THE HOUSEMATES -

Moa (she/they) 32y/o. Working in a policy role in the civil service. From Sweden originally but grew up in the UK. They like hanging out with friends/family, outdoor swimming, going to the sauna, watching good tv & bad tv, working out, travelling and being part of queer community.

Dylan (they/them) 34y/o. Canadian. Currently working as a full-time chef in East London. They will be changing to a freelance schedule soon, with plans to travel and rest after years of grinding away in restaurants. Dylan enjoys cycling, weight lifting, cooking at home, and sweet little treats.

Margherita (she/her) 32 y/o Italian working in an art gallery, always ready to share free exhibition tickets and rather eclectic music recommendations. Loves to climb rocks (and plastic holds), making things, and escaping to the outdoors whenever possible.
