Description
The biggest room in a nice Stoke Newington warehouse awaits your interest..
You'll be living in a fun and communal environment along with seven other rooms/professional people; two french females, a russian/canadian digital strategist, a northern chappy and the other three are mockney cockneys (a doctor, a social worker and an internal recruiter) and we all get along well. Given the living arrangement of this flat it will ideally suit someone who is comfortable mixing with people from different professions, cultures and backgrounds - loads of opportunity to chat about random events and stuff. You'll probably fit in best by being naturally considerate and chilled (not lazy or messy), vaguely interesting/intelligent/creati ve/hobby-led and into typical, city-living type adult stuff - cooking, wine, events & art galleries, cycling, evolved musical tastes, chatting/debating.. Midweeks are typically not spent heavy boozing/partying in nearby Hackney/Dalston, but at weekends Londons everyones playground.
Communally speaking there are two bathrooms each with their own sink, shower, toilet, natural lighting, floor, ceiling, four+ walls and london air supply (it all helps). An open plan soft-furnished living area comes with Virgin TV, high-speed internet and music playing facilities - should you want to play/listen whilst in the nearby kitchen. Speaking of which, theres 3 x fridges, a freezer, a sink, cupboards, utensil type bits and bobs housed inside this open planned kitchen that shares itself with a large centralised table, mainly used as a hub of social activity. Recently relocated outside the kitchen area - for noise reduction purposes - is the washing machine thats also free for everyone to use. On-street parking is available in the surrounding streets and is all free/unreserved/un metered/un permitted - pretty rare for inner London!
All bills are included in the monthly price - water, council tax, eleccy and gas, TV and turbonet.
Going back to the room on offer, did I mention its huge?.. like, comparatively massive for a typical double room advert in London. It has two large warehouse sized windows (one comes with a blind, the other I keep covered full-time for ease), theres a mini-mezzanine/stage area which is ideal for putting a double bed onto (with a bed base, or like me, without a base), this also doubles up as convenient storage space underneath, so you can pack stuff away and not see it until you move out! Theres also a bit of additional storage space outside the room - meant for anyone in the flat. It is currently occupied solely by me, but I took over what had previously been a couples room - so would easily suit either a single person or a loved-up couple moving forward (splitting rent etc).
Date wise, it will be ready to move in anytime after the 18th of September, so get your skates on and come round to have a look..
