The bedroom that is available has a double bed with a memory foam mattress, a chest of draws, a separate cabinet and an inbuilt wardrobe. The rooms are keyed for maximum privacy.
Washing machine, Dishwasher, fridge freezer and Cooker all provided for shared use.
And some house rules:
Noise and untidiness in shared areas are totally unacceptable.
Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after yourself.
Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, ask first.
Please respect our home but feel comfortable. Treat it as your own house for the duration of your stay.
Brutal honesty: I am looking for a lodger, not a friend to socialise with. I am a private person and would like to relax in my home in peace and quiet. Please do not expect much from me in the way of socialising but expect plenty in respect of politeness and courtesy.
If you are looking for a clean and quiet home after a hard day’s work or study, you found it.
I work from home and therefore the lounge is not available to the guests.
Both long and short term lets are possible (minimum 2 -3 weeks).
Transport links: busses number 73, 476, 236,141,21 are all 4-5 minutes’ walk away. Dalston Kingsland station is 10 minutes’ walk away. Canonbury and Stoke Newington stations are 15 minutes’ walk away
