I divide my time between London and Belfast, I am mostly in Belfast. so for significant periods you will have the flat largely — entirely — to yourself

This is a comfortable, modern, well-established home rather than a constantly changing flatshare. I'm looking for one lodger only, so there will never be a house full of strangers coming and going.

👋 A little about me

I'm a mature professional (teacher) and writer, friendly, easy-going and respectful of other people's space. I am a single gay man and ask that any potential tenants are respectful of this. I spend a large part of my time in Belfast, (around 85%) so this arrangement would particularly suit someone who enjoys having independence and doesn't need a landlord constantly under their feet!

I'm looking for the right fit rather than simply the first person available. Ideally, I'd like someone who is looking for a home for at least several months and who will treat the place with the same care and respect that they would their own. I only share with non meat eaters, so vegan or veggie people.

There is a desk in the room suitable for working at home along with wardrobes and drawers for storage. The apartment has air con in bedrooms and living room

It’s a great area the lovely Olympic park and new East Bank with V and A/ Sadlers Wells as well cinemas and bars and restaurants, not to mention Westfield with all it has to offer only a 10 minute walk and Hackney Wick with its bars and cafes and canals just the other side of the park. Getting to anywhere in London is great from here and straight into town is quick. Bus stop right outside front door. Stratford station less than a 10 minute walk, DLR 5 minutes. I’ve lived here 13 years and I love it. The apartment is quiet and peaceful. It’s a nice relaxed apartment with a roof terrace. I am a teacher, A playwright just finished a PhD at UEA, a vegan, and I only want a vegan or veggie person to live here. I am a friendly chilled guy and quite sociable but also like my own space and respect others space too. LGBT + friendly. Absolutely Zero drug tolerance. No drugs. Because you will have the flat to yourself a lot of the time I will be carrying out reference checks, employment and bank accounts and will need to meet you in person at least once.
