A lovely, spacious double room is available from 1st November to the end of January in a large three-bedroom flat in Streatham. It's ideal as an interim space if you're between places and need somewhere comfortable for a few months.
The flat
The flat is super clean and spacious, with three double bedrooms, a sort of balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. The room is a generous double with a desk. It's fully furnished, and I own the flat and everything in it.
Our big living room has doubled as a home cinema and even a pop-up restaurant. The flat stays cool in summer and cosy in winter. We also share it with a very friendly cocker spaniel.
The rent
£1,000 per month, all inclusive: bills, council tax, broadband and a cleaner every fortnight. Open to discussion for the right person.
The location
We're 10 minutes by bus from Brixton and close to three stations: Streatham, Streatham Hill and Streatham Common. Two great yoga studios, an excellent coffee shop and The Purveyor (wine and beer) are all a short walk away.
About us
I'm a 45-year-old chef and co-founder of the charity Chefs in Schools, so food, wine and good company are a big part of how we live. We love cooking and eating together most days.
Who we're looking for
Someone fun but tidy, kind and considerate, who loves dogs and cares about the environment. Hospitality folk are especially welcome. We keep the shared spaces clear and tidy at all times.
