Double room in cozy Streatham Common house share

Hi! We have a double room available for rent from mid-October in our 3 bed house in Streatham Common.

The room is on the first floor and the house is ideally located a minute (literally) away from the station, and 10ish minutes away from Streatham main station (also a big Tesco, M&S foodhall, Aldi and two gyms), with bus stops, a pub and a little Sainsbury’s a couple minutes away from the house too.
10ish minutes in the opposite direction gets you to a big Sainsbury’s, and a Lidl a further 5 mins away. There is also free on street parking on our road and the ones close to us too.

We have a nice size living room (Sky, Prime and Disney+), a bathroom with a tub, and a kitchen that leads out to our patio and garden (and shed!).

The room is furnished with a large wardrobe (with full length mirror) and a bed. The rest of the furniture in the room will not be staying. There is storage under the stairs as well.

As the current housemates, Chantelle and I are hoping to find someone who is interested in maintaining our friendly, relaxed and warm atmosphere in the house, and not being a stranger! I’ve lived here just under 3 years and Chantelle moved in last summer. We appreciate having time to ourselves but do spend some evenings together when we can.

We have a cleaner every two weeks for the communal areas and all bills are included. The contract is for a year but there is a 6 month break clause. Private landlord so no extra hassle or random checkins.
