Hello,
We are Mai and Genesis, and we are looking for a new flatmate! We are two friends hoping to find a friendly and considerate person to share our cosy, peaceful flat in Streatham.

The room is a small double and comes furnished (double bed and mattress, chest of drawers, and wardrobe). The flat also has a bright and spacious communal living area, as well as a separate, fully equipped kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, and cookware for all of us.

The room will be available from the 3rd of June, so we are hoping to have as many viewings as possible before then. Please note that bills are not included in the rent listed on the advert; they usually come to around £110 per month.
We’re looking for someone reliable, friendly, and very clean. We both really value a tidy, well-looked-after home and take pride in keeping shared spaces neat and comfortable. We’d love to live with someone who naturally keeps things clean and is happy to contribute to maintaining a calm, respectful environment for everyone. Mai, our new flatmate (you) and I would take turns on a weekly basis to keep the house clean, and we’d split the cost of shared essentials like cleaning products and toilet paper.

Please send us a message telling us a bit about you, your hobbies and what you do. Also, the agency does a credit check and a job check. So applicants without a permanent or with a part-time job will most likely be rejected.

About money:

Deposit: 663
Rent: 640
Council Tax and bills: roughly 110 a month
Our water bill is calculated on a yearly basis from the 1st of April until the 31st of March. So when you move in, you will also be paying for water from June 2026 until March 2027. This will roughly be 175.

Tesco Extra across the road; Aldi and M&S 5 minutes’ walk; next to Streatham Station
5-minute walk to Streatham Station (London Bridge and Blackfriars ~25 mins)
10-minute walk to Streatham Common Station (Trains to Victoria via Clapham Junction ~20 mins)
Regular bus connections to Tooting Bec (Northern Line) and Brixton (Victoria Line)
5-minute walk to Streatham Common—great for walks in the woods and the beautiful Rookery Gardens
5-minute walk to Streatham High Street with numerous shops and amenities including GP, pharmacy, dentist, supermarkets, gyms, etc. Lots of new cafes and eateries popping up—Streatham is definitely up and coming!
Recently fitted new carpets and curtains (June 2022), and a new energy-efficient boiler in the last two years
