Double room in spacious maisonette

Double room available in a spacious and bright maisonette in Streatham Common. Direct access from the road, garden, kitchen/dining room, separate office with space for two people to work, and separate living room. My housemate is moving out after two years so looking for someone to replace him!

You’ll be sharing the maisonette with me. I work full-time as an archaeological conservator and enjoy art, reading, dinner parties + the pub. I’m off for the occasional excavation and holiday but will be around most of the time outside of working hours.

It’s a nice and quiet residential area. I commute by bicycle in and out of central which takes around 45 mins each way, but the train from Streatham Common (10-15 mins walk) goes to Victoria and London Bridge and there’s a bus stop down the road which takes you straight to Brixton tube.

Rent is £875 not including bills. Bills vary depending on time of year and usage but are typically £80 gas and electric, £20 water, £20 WiFi, and £87 council tax each.

No students or couples, subject to landlord’s final approval and signing a lease including references and proof of income. Landlord is great, private landlord and keeps a distance but sorts any necessary repairs quickly.

My housemate is on the lease until 4th January but is happy for someone to move in earlier.
