Spacious 14'x12' (4.27m x 3.66m) double room with original period features and stripped wood floor available in substantial 4 bed Victorian house arranged over 3 floors. The house is situated on a quiet residential road only 5 mins walk from Streatham Common station allowing access to Victoria (18 mins) and London Bridge (33 mins). Streatham station is approx. 10 min walk and is serviced by trains to Blackfriars, St. Pancras Intl, and London Bridge.
We have no plans to rent out any of the other bedrooms. Aside from the current tenant who is very quiet, the only other residents are two very relaxed pedigree (British Shorthair) indoor house cats. The cats (Frankie and Sansa) will require shared involvement from you to refill their auto feeder (approx once per month), and change the bag on their auto toilet (once per fortnight).
Recently decorated, the bedroom is fully furnished with 2 wardrobes, chest of drawers, side tables, lamp, bed, mattress, iron, ironing board, bedding, towels etc.
We also have a large loft area which can accommodate any storage needs you have (within reason!).
The house has a large kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave, blender, juicer, Nespresso coffee machine etc.) with separate dining area with room for 6-8 people. Bath and shower room, and 2 separate toilets on different floors. Fibre optic 1000 Mbps wifi.
There are 2 comfortable reception rooms, both with sofas and a 65" 4K Smart TV and soundbar., and the other with a projector and sound system.
We also have an excellent cleaner that comes every other week for the whole house, including washing /replacing the bedding.
Room would ideally suit a non-smoking, cat friendly professional, looking for somewhere quiet and clean to stay for easy commute into central London. Definitely not a party house.

The room is available inclusive of all bills and cleaner. Maximum stay 4 months, returning from travelling on 8th May 2026.
