Double room in lovely house in Streatham Hill

I’m a 46-year-old mum living in a lovely house in Streatham Hill with my 9-year-old daughter and our very hairy, four-legged family member, Fonzie!

I have a double room available on the top floor of the house, which I’m offering on a full-time basis. The room has access to a shared bathroom, currently shared with our au pair.

We’re in a great location, around a 5-minute walk from Tooting Common, with plenty of green space nearby. Balham is within walking distance, and Brixton is easily accessible by bus, making it a convenient spot for getting around London.

A little about the kind of person I’m looking for:

I’d love to find someone considerate, tidy and responsible who will treat the house with the same care and respect as they would their own home. I’m looking for someone who wants a comfortable, peaceful place to live and who appreciates being part of a friendly household.

It’s important to say that this is very much a family home, rather than a flat share. My daughter is still young, so I’m looking for someone who is respectful of family life, values privacy and understands that this isn’t a suitable home for someone who wants to regularly have friends over or use the house as a social space. I want whoever lives here to feel comfortable and at home, while respecting the needs and routines of the rest of the household.

In an ideal world, you’d speak Spanish, although this isn’t essential!
