4 Bedroom house

Two large double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, are available in a house on a quiet private close on the Streatham and Norbury border.

I live in the house myself, so this is a home rather than a house share run from a distance. I am looking for tidy, friendly people who want space, calm and a proper kitchen to cook in.

Both rooms are generous doubles with a private en-suite, so you will never queue for a shower. The house comes part furnished, and you are welcome to bring your own pieces for the communal areas and make them feel like yours.

The house

The kitchen is the heart of it: very large and fully equipped, with a dishwasher and everything you need to cook for yourself or for friends. Next to it is a big living room with plenty of room to spread out.

Outside there is a private garden with a patio, which comes into its own on summer evenings.

The other bedrooms share a large family bathroom upstairs, and there is a separate toilet downstairs for guests.

The area

Norwood Grove and Streatham Common are a short walk away, two of the best green spaces in south London. Streatham, Norbury and West Norwood stations are each 15 to 20 minutes on foot, with direct trains to Victoria, London Bridge and the City. Streatham's shops, cafés and gyms are close by.
