Double bedroom in cosy home with garden

A double room in my classic victorian cosy home, with a large garden (and hot tub) over two floors and in a nice quiet safe and well connected residential area.
There are two of us, professionals in the true sense and the challenge now is to find that unique and very special someone else who will easily fit in with our relaxed, social and friendly way of life.
We are not a party house, neither a hostel. We have a quiet, relaxing, cosy home and we are social, but understanding the need for an individual's privacy. We seek someone who is looking for and wants to be part of a home, not somewhere just to sleep.
The second bathroom (which is next to the room) we only use for the shower so it would mainly be for you.
There is also a spare guest room.

Location and Transport:
Streatham Hill is a quiet backwater but very well connected with great transport.
4 to 5 minutes walk to Streatham Hill train station (zone 3)
Quick frequent trains to both Victoria via Clapham Junction (with its links to SW and overground direct to Olympia/Shepherds Bush and NW London) as well as to London Bridge
Numerous (at least 7 routes) buses (4x24hr) to Brixton (10 minutes) and the Victoria line
15 minutes walk to Balham (also the next train stop - 3 minutes) and the Northern line.
2x24 hour busses to Clapham Common.
Gatwick is under an hour, front door to past security.
A short bus journey to Streatham station for Thameslink
4-5 minutes walk to Tooting Bec common.

I work from home as a film maker (with a background in corporate marketing and communications). The other, housemate (Spanish) has a background in law and international relations, working as a civil servant.
We grow our own vegetables - they taste so much better than supermarket ones!!
Happy to consider someone with a small/medium dog, however no cats, my dogs love chasing them …
