A quiet, spacious room with view of the river

Hi! My lovely flatmate is moving away from London, so I’m looking for someone to take over his room.

The flat is a two-bedroom riverside apartment in Surrey Quays. You’ll be sharing a bathroom, as well as a kitchen and living area, with me. The bedroom itself is quite spacious and comes fully furnished.

A little bit about me: I’m a 36-year-old journalist and literary translator. I translate English literature into Japanese, so books, especially fiction, are a big passion of mine. I love films too! I’m originally from Tokyo, grew up in Rome, and have been living in London for the past two and a half years. I usually work from the office Monday to Friday.

My partner, who is currently based in Tokyo, comes to visit me every two or three months. She works in independent film and travels quite a bit for work.

The rent is £925 per month, plus bills (usually around £80–100). And as another little bonus, the building has some really lovely concierges!

I’d love to find someone friendly and considerate who enjoys a relaxed and comfortable home.
