Tooting/Balham share of house

The bedroom available, 5m x 3.05m, has just been decorated, is fully furnished has a divan double bed, with sofa, desk, 2 chairs, chest of drawers and several cupboards. The house has a spacious sunny kitchen/diner overlooking a well-stocked garden. The bathroom is shared and the third bedroom is my office.

I am a live in landlady who has had a number of lodgers over the years and now need a new one to share my 3 bedroom Edwardian home. The house is close to Wandsworth Common with cafes and a Sainsbury’s local. The area has very good public transport links with Tooting Bec tube (10 mins walk) on the Northern line and Wandsworth Common BR (5 mins walk). There is also a bus which goes to Chelsea and Clapham Junction.

My interests include singing at a local community choir (no audition needed!), visiting art galleries and cycling. I enjoy nature, colour and handmade goods. I want to share my home with another friendly person with their own life who appreciates a bit of comfort, calmness, independence and privacy and would enjoy a chat at the end of the day and the occasional meal together. Cat lovers are welcome – I have a female silver tabby called Pepper. Sorry the lounge is not shared as I have some precious work items that I want to avoid the risk of accidentally damage.

The minimum stay is 3 months and ideally I am looking for someone longer term.
