**Overview & Location

A room in a quiet, friendly flat close to all the local amenities in Tooting, including the trendy markets.

The flat is approximately:
*5-10 minutes’ walk from Tooting Thameslink
*10-15 minutes’ walk from Tooting Broadway Underground (Northern Line)
*15-20 minutes’ walk from St George’s Hospital/University (at a slow walking pace)

Nearest bus stop: Amen Corner

There’s a large Lidl and Sainsbury’s nearby, as well as a Sainsbury’s Local just around the corner. Tooting Market also has plenty of greengrocers.

There are lots of gyms, pound shops, charity shops and affordable restaurants nearby, particularly if you like South Asian food.

There’s a green space about 5–10 minutes’ walk away, and Tooting Common is around 15–20 minutes’ walk (or a short bus journey).

**About Us

You will be living with:
*Kelsey (American, F, works in refugee education, hobbies include dancing, boxing, reading, calligraphy, languages)
*Jay (British, actor, M, likes to work out and go out)
and
*Oni (British, F, therapist in training, likes to run) J

We all are either hybrid or WFH.

We’re looking for someone who is clean, tidy and generally clears up after themselves.

We very much treat the flat as our home and generally get on well, so we’re looking for someone who will fit in with the household.

We tend to keep a board showing who’s in and out, and we’ve had housemates who work shifts before, so we’re used to different schedules. We’re not a party house, but we do enjoy chatting and catching up when we see each other.

**About the Flat

The flat is on a quiet road and has:

*One full bathroom with bath/shower and WC
*One additional WC
*Washing machine and tumble dryer
*Living room
*Kitchen
*Loft storage space

The room is quite spacious comes with a double bed, desk, bookshelf and wardrobe, and there is additional storage available in the lofts.

Please note that the current occupant has some of his own furniture, so the flat you will view is photos 3-4; they will be replaced by the standard landlord furniture, so the room will look more like photos 1-2 when he leaves (same size room).

The landlord is also pretty decent when it comes to dealing with repairs.

**Monthly Bills
The approximate monthly breakdown is:

*Council Tax: £25
*Internet/Broadband: £7.50
*Water: £34.25
*Gas & Electricity: £45
*Cleaner: £15–£20

We usually hire a cleaner to clean the communal areas around once a month, although this isn't set in stone.

We also use a Splitwise account for shared household purchases, so if we buy things like toilet rolls, kitchen towels, etc., we add them there to keep everything fair.
