Quiet Modern Home Near Tooting Broadway +WFH Space

Hi, I’m looking for a new housemate to move in from the end of June / early July.

The flat is located in Tooting Broadway in a peaceful gated development just off the high street, close enough to enjoy everything locally while still feeling quiet and relaxed at home.

You’re a short walk from some great local spots for coffee and brunch, including Juliette’s, MUD and Gail’s, plus the new M&S Food opposite Tooting Broadway station. Transport links are excellent: around a 12-minute walk to Tooting Broadway Underground (Northern Line) and only 4 minutes to the Thameslink station.

The estate itself is one of the things we love most about living here, quiet, friendly and with the River Graveney running through it. The neighbours know each other and there’s a genuine sense of community, which feels increasingly rare in London.

The room is £850pcm plus bills, with a £300 deposit.

A bit about the house: I’m a live-in landlord and mixed media artist, and my current housemate James works in tech. We’re both easy-going professionals and enjoy a friendly home atmosphere while respecting each other’s space. It’s not a party house, but we’re social and enjoy the occasional chat, meal or coffee.

I also have a cat called Tybalt (aka Mr T), who’s very friendly and always appreciates a chin scratch.

Layout-wise: my bedroom, studio and the communal kitchen are on the ground floor. Upstairs there’s a shared living room, two work desk spaces, and the two bedrooms. There’s a shower/WC on both floors, plus a bath upstairs.
