Large room in a peaceful home - now long term

Generous double in a quiet 4 bed house sharing with two/three other people and one cat.

Most of the time you will be sharing with my brother Matthew, our lovely long term lodger Natalia and her cat Vanya. I will probably only be home for 2-3 months during the summer.

My brother generally keeps to himself and has his own bathroom so probably won't see him a lot.

Natalia is an author and copywriter. She is kind and considerate and is always up for a chat over a cup of tea but is also very respectful of personal space.

I am a wildlife vet currently doing my PhD on leopards in Nepal. I won't be around that much at all. But when I am, very up for getting to know each other and similarly equally happy to give you your space.

The room on offer is my old room, and you would be taking it while I’m away doing fieldwork (due to continue for another 2-3 years). It has a huge bed (super king) with plenty of storage and natural light. There is the option to add a desk if needed. I was initially only offering it until the end of June, but have now decided to let it long term. (I will use the box room when I'm there).

There is also a large kitchen, with a big table and plenty of fridge space. Plus, a cosy sitting room with a wood burner and projector.

The garden at the back is very green and full of wildlife (birds and squirrels mostly) and there's a deck for chilling with a coffee and a book.

Rent is inclusive of all bills including council tax (band D) and we have a weekly cleaner for the common areas.

We aren’t accepting any additional pets, but Vanya is super friendly and always ready with a nuzzle at the end of a long day.

Ideally, we’d be looking for someone of a similar age, who’s clean and tidy and not looking for a massive party house, although thats not to say you can't host or have people over.
