Room available in spacious house with a garden

Hey there,

My name is Jack, and I have a double room available in my house in Tottenham Hale. The property is around 10 minutes from Tottenham Hale Station (great links to the Viccy line stations, Stanstead Airport and Liverpool Street), and 5 minutes from Bruce Grove overground.

A little about me - I'm 31, gay, male, working in Sustainability in the City. I enjoy music, reading, hiking, clubbing, travelling and spend most of my time outside of work either curled up on the sofa with my Switch or out seeing friends around the various crevices of London.


I care about the house feeling like a home, so ideally I'm looking for someone who is happy to build a nice friendship and hang out every now and then (my current housemate and I always spend some time on Sunday together), but still happy to have their own space. I'm not millitant, but I do care about the house being clean and relatively tidy. Happy to explore getting a cleaner if it would make it easier to manage.

The house is super close to all amenities around Tottenham Hale, including Downs Lane park, the marshes and local pubs, bars and restaurants.

The room is £1,500 and comes with your own private study to do as you wish (pics included). Bills are around £175 pp including energy, water, council tax and WiFi.

The private landlord is quite hands off and manages the property through an agent, who also tend to leave us to ourselves. The house is in really good condition, mostly new fixtures and fittings. The crowning jewel is a gorgeous garden where we've had numerous BBQs (included with the house!) over the summer

The room would be a sublet for at least the next 6 months, with the option to extend your stay and move perminantly onto the contract afterwards.
