Double Room in Spacious Flat with Garden

Hello,

My lovely flatmate Milly is sadly leaving to work abroad, so I am looking for someone to join me in the new tenancy starting December 16th. You may be able to move in at the beginning of December, before the official start of the tenancy, if that works better for you.

Room/Rent: The available room is an unfurnished double room (the rest of the flat is furnished) with space for a wardrobe and bedside table. The rent is £960 per month plus bills (usually an additional £185).

Location: The flat is located just off Dalmeny Road, approx. 8 minutes walk from Tufnell Park station. From there, you can hop on the Northern Line and be in central London in 15 minutes. It’s a 3-minute walk to Campvale Road, a mini high street with a village feel, with a great café, deli, post office, flower shop, Budgens, and a great local pub. The flat is also an 8-minute walk to Holloway Road, where you’ll find two gyms (PureGym and Energie Fitness), several supermarkets (Tesco and Sainsbury’s) and other shops nearby.

Flat: The flat feels spacious for two people, with a good sized lounge with lots of natural light and with each bedroom on either side of the kitchen, providing a good amount of privacy. There is also a good sized garden (by London standards) where it’s nice to sit in the sun, as well as a garden shed, which is great for storage space. The flat and the surrounding area is very nice and quiet—you can even hear the birds chirping in the morning!

Flatmate: You will be living with me (35, male). I work as a Clinical Psychologist in the NHS and am super friendly and social, but I also value my downtime. I enjoy a workout first thing, reading a book in the sun, cycling, exploring exhibitions, swimming in Hampstead Heath Ponds, and having drinks in the local pubs.

I’m looking for someone in their late 20s to mid-30s with a similar mindset and interests. I value a clean and tidy flat and would love someone who wants to help make the place feel like a home!
