Description
After just over two wonderful years, my lovely flatmate is moving out to live with family who have just moved to London, leaving her gorgeous room available to rent!
Tufnell Park is a stunning area - it's picturesque and charming, yet full of funky pubs/bars, wholesome boutiques, and lush bakeries. The flat is just 3/4 mins walk from Tufnell Park Underground Station, and the street we're on is just off the main road so it's also quiet and safe.
The room available is south-facing so it gets lots of sunlight throughout the day (fantastic for those short winter days!), and is very spacious with the wardrobe and shelves built into the wall. Bills come to around £120 in summer and £160 in winter.
A little bit about me: Hi, I'm Kat - I'll be your flatmate! I'm 27 and currently work at a law firm doing marketing. I've been renting / living with girls for 10 years now since going to uni (saying that makes me feel old ew), so I have a lot of experience with being a solid flatmate. My friends have described me as considerate, a moderate yapper, and great at listening to awful date stories.
My hobbies include reading (you have access to any of my books), films & tv (I love cinema trips), and house plants (as you'll see from the photos). On evenings you'll usually find me curled up with a book or watching some show, but I'm very chatty and will gladly yap with you over a glass of wine. On weekends I'm always out with friends meandering through yet another London market or having drinks somewhere.
I'm ideally looking for a girl who has a similar lifestyle to mine, and is also considerate, chill, yet down to hang out and have a glass of wine after work / do things together. I'm looking for a friend, not just a flatmate, as I would like this place to feel like a home for the both of us.
This bit is boring (sorry) but it must be mentioned: my space means a lot to me and I treasure a clean and tidy flat, so I would appreciate someone who also values this too and equally shares the cleaning with me. The neighbours above and below are very quiet (and tend to get ticked off at a lot of noise late at night), so unfortunately this isn't a party house.
Please drop me a message if you're interested! Let me know as much as possible about you: age, job, your hobbies, interests, routine, etc. so I can gauge how well we'd get on. Feel free to even drop your socials if you'd like!
Move in date is officially 19 March (but my flatmate is hoping to move out by 3rd March so there is wriggle room if you wanted to come sooner!).
