We're a house share of five young professionals in Tufnell Park. Our flatmate is leaving in August and we are looking for a friendly, clean and responsible new tenant to take over his room. It's an incredibly big double bedroom with East-facing bay windows, fully furnished (double bed, desk, shelves, 2 wardrobes). It's available for rent for a really amazing price of £766 per month plus bills (gas, electric, water, WiFi, TV license, council tax). We're a very relaxed house - we're all very friendly and respectful but keep ourselves to ourselves as well. We are working in a range of fields, from tech to live music, so we have our own individual programs, but we love a chat or a glass of wine together in the evenings, or a barbecue in the summertime!
It's a quiet and clean house on a residential road, so a very calm atmosphere. We have a big kitchen and dining room, spacious living room, two bathrooms and an extra toilet, a cellar which provides loads of storage space and a lovely garden which gets plenty of afternoon sunshine! We have access to the full house so we're spread over three floors - it's very spacious. We share the house with a lovely little dog, Ralph, who is very relaxed and quiet.
We are located just a ten minute walk from Tufnell Park station (Northern Line), with Holloway Road also within walking distance - lots of buses nearby as well as the tube, making us very well connected with North and Central London. Quiet streets all round so a very cycle-able area. We keep our bikes in the living room so you're more than welcome to bring yours.
Lots of amenities nearby - big Lidl and two Sainsbury's Locals within walking distance, plus loads of other shops and cafes on Tufnell Park Road and Holloway Road. Pubs as well, including the Tufnell Park Tavern just a couple of minutes from the house. A small park is just round the corner, while Hampstead Heath is a 20 minute walk from the house.
The contract runs till January of 2027 with option to extend. We are in COUNCIL TAX BAND G in Islington Council.
