Description
Hi! We're looking for a new housemate to take a spacious upstairs bedroom in our beautiful four-bedroom house.
This large downstairs room is available in November and comes with a small semi-private bathroom and a private outdoor area! It is part furnished and comes with the bed, desk and large chest of drawers shown in the photos.
The house has been renovated fairly recently, and includes a huge kitchen-dining space at the rear extension with lovely folding doors overlooking a very large, very green garden. There are three other bedrooms, a small spare room available for guests, a big upstairs bathroom, and an additional small downstairs toilet. We’re also very fortunate to have lots of storage space under the stairs and in the spare room if needed.
We are a 10-minute walk from Turnpike Lane Station (Piccadilly Line) on a quiet, residential street. Sainsbury’s is just around the corner and we have a few Tesco stores nearby and a big Morrisons up at Wood Green. The house is very close to bus links and lots of nearby green spaces. Wood Green High Road and Harringay Green Lanes are both within walking distance, with restaurants, gyms, a shopping centre and a cinema complex. A short bus ride will take you to Alexandra Palace, Crouch End, Stoke Newington etc.
Your housemates will be:
Holly, a treasury officer in finance. I work mostly from home, with the occasional trip to the office. I enjoy crafting, gaming & yapping about my latest hyperfixation, as well as going to concerts, the theatre and the occasional festival.
Lydia, who is in her 3rd year of her archaeology PhD and in her spare time enjoys reading romance, fantasy and sci-fi books. She is always down to watch a film or tv series together and is happy to explore the cinema, theatre, gigs and places to eat. Around the house, you’re likely to catch her cooking pasta, having a good yap and leaving a trace of pink somewhere!
Sophie, who works in marketing for producing and touring contemporary dance. She also enjoys theatre, yoga, gigs and trashy tv. Always up for a yap and or a tv binge.
We're a very friendly household and looking for a housemate who lives quite independently but would also enjoy a movie night or dinner together to unwind after work. We're eager to make sure this house is a peaceful, tidy and respectful home for everyone. Female professionals preferred. LGBTQ+ friendly. No pets and non-smoking please!
Rent: £687.50, bills not included
Council tax (Band D)
Bills currently come to around £125 per person
**Available 2nd November**
If you like the look of us and the house and think you’d be a good fit, please drop us a message with a little about yourself, including age, occupation, and whether you work from home. If you have any questions for us, please don't hesitate to ask. Looking forward to meeting you! :)
