We’re looking for a friendly, laid-back professional to share our two-bed, two-bathroom first-floor apartment in a beautiful Georgian townhouse conversion. High ceilings, loads of character (a few creaky floorboards in places). This is a lived-in, relaxed home, not a party flat.
The Space
🛏️ Your room: Sunny, rear-facing double, fully furnished (double bed, wardrobe + dresser, desk & chair, full-length mirror).
🛁 Main bathroom: Since we have a small en-suite, the main household bathroom we tend not to use as much. Save for visitors, you would have that bathroom pretty much all to yourself, and it has a bathtub.
📺 📚 Our communal space is often described as homely, calm (if a tad maximalist), some say bohemian. There’s a large lounge/dining room packed with books and houseplants, comfy seating, smart TV, dining table.
🍽️ Kitchen: Fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer).
🌴 Leading off a separate study room/film-editing suite is a spacious south facing terrace - ideal for BBQs quiet evenings, soaking up rays.
📍 Location
Vauxhall (Victoria Line + National Rail): 4-minute walk.
Oval (Northern Line): 8-minute walk.
Excellent connections, very easy living.

We’re a creative, easygoing couple. I tend to work from home quite a bit, so a harmonious atmosphere matters.
Me: Filmmaker, writer, editor. Sometimes a bit of night owl, but quiet and considerate.
My partner: Professional chef. Loves music and vinyl.
The boss: A one-year-old French Bulldog. Animal lovers only—this is non-negotiable.
Music is part of daily life here. Not blaring, but usually present.

Calm, respectful environment.
No party drugs (we value a calm, grounded home).
Clean, communicative, emotionally literate humans.
Smoking: I smoke the odd roll-up (on the terrace).
👤 Who We’re Looking For
A friendly professional (ideally 35+) who’s tidy, calm, grown-up, independent, respectful, able to coexist without friction. Basically, the opposite of Jennifer Jason Leigh in ‘Single White Female’. Be respectful of boundaries, doesn’t mind living with a dog, feels comfortable to invite pals over, and great if you’re energy aware. London’s hard enough—home should be easy.

Deposit: £1,000.
