🏊 Zone 1 Private Bedroom + SPA, Gym & Rooftop

Hi! I’m Tim, and I’m relocating to the UK after finishing my bachelor’s degree and internships in America.

I’m friendly, tidy, clean, quiet, and very reliable. I don’t play loud music, party, gamble, or smoke. I really value having a quiet home at night and respecting each other’s personal space, so I’d only have people over if you’re comfortable with it too.

I love hanging out in London and travelling, so I think we’d make a great team if you’d like to spend some quality time exploring not just the UK but Europe too! I also love learning different languages — I’m currently working on my French and German. :)

I understand you’re looking for a private double room, and the flat I’ve found is a newly finished, modern 2-bed, 2-bath flat. You’d have your own private bedroom (with a floor-to-ceiling window) and bathroom, with a lovely hotel-style marble design and ambient lighting. The flat is also relatively spacious, with an open-plan kitchen and a balcony.

It’s right in Zone 1 and very well connected to public transport. We’re also very close to the US Embassy and MI6, so it’s a very safe neighbourhood.

In terms of transport, Vauxhall Station is about a 5-minute walk, while Oval and Kennington stations are just 10 minutes away. Vauxhall South Western Railway is also just 5 minutes away. There are direct connections to basically everywhere in Zone 1, so you can get to most places in under 30 minutes without too much hassle.

The flat itself is unfurnished, but there are some really nice amenities in the building, including a 24-hour concierge, a private cinema exclusively for residents, central courtyards, a café and community centre, a residents’ lounge, and a fifth-floor residents’ rooftop terrace with amazing views over the Kia Oval cricket ground — great for socialising and relaxing.

In terms of fitness and wellness, living here also gives you access to the state-of-the-art private residents-only 1847 Club. It has an 18-metre indoor swimming pool, modern gym facilities for spin, yoga and weight training, steam and sauna rooms, treatment rooms, and even a hydro pool (which would be great after a long day!).

There’s also a Tesco Superstore right on the ground floor of this building, so getting groceries couldn’t be easier — a great time-saver!

Rent for the room is £1,625 per month, excluding utilities and council tax. The minimum lease is one year, and I’ll very likely renew, so it’d be great if you’re also looking for somewhere to make your home for the foreseeable future.
