Description
I recently moved into a brand new, modern flat on a small development called ‘The Chain’ which has a lovely, friendly community of like-minded professionals (and cute dogs it would seem!)
It has the best place for coffee/all day brunch called The Curious Goat next to the flat, and a bakery that makes fresh sourdough every day!
My current flatmate has been in London studying at Kings College for five months and will be heading back to Berlin after her exams in January.
It’s a popular area for those needing easy access to the City/central London as it has amazing transport connections. The overground (St James Street/Weaver line) is less than a 5-minute walk from the flat for trains to Liverpool Street in 15 mins.
It’s less than a 10-minute walk to the Victoria Line for the underground to Highbury & Islington and central London (Kings Cross, Oxford Circus, Green Park and Victoria).
Walthamstow Queen’s Road overground is also less than a 10 minute walk.
It’s surrounded by bus stops taking you pretty much everywhere including Stratford and Tottenham.
The room is a gorgeous, large double (master) bedroom with en-suite bathroom and I can offer it for £1600pcm (including all bills/Wi-Fi).
The flat has all mod cons as you’d expect in a newly designed flat. It has a lovely bright open plan kitchen and living area with great views from the 7th floor spacious balcony.
The master bedroom is a large double with floor to ceiling window and en-suite with walk in rain shower. It is fully furnished including a built-in mirrored wardrobe, and a new desk.
I enjoy a clean and clutter free home and this would suit someone who appreciates living like this too. I generally clear up as I go and have a great regular cleaner (don’t worry - I’m not someone who is hoovering at midnight 😆)
I am down to earth, responsible, respectful, and caring (with a good sense of humour!) My job involves working with architects and the community to design new homes and public spaces so weekdays are pretty low key (and I’m often in bed by 10pm!)
Ideally looking for someone that doesn’t need to wfh every day.
I’ve shared with lots of people over the years from all over the world. I regularly travel at weekends either to see my boyfriend (Italian) or family/friends in Somerset and Croatia.
I’m quite independent and my ideal flatmate would be the same. I’m friendly and considerate, emotionally intelligent and love a good chat! I equally respect individual space and the need for down time.
I’m not vegetarian but often cook veggie/vegan meals. (Ideally looking for someone who isn’t practicing for the next series of Masterchef or GBBO every night as it is an open plan kitchen/lounge!)
It’s a really quiet and relaxed space so you won’t need to worry about returning home to a lounge full of random people partying till 3am! I do most of my socialising out and about and communicate ahead if I’m having someone to occasionally visit (and they will always be close friends or family).
The flat is on a private development that is quiet and beautifully maintained, with on-site concierge. It has a courtyard and private bike storage. The area has all local amenities less than a 5-minute walk away including a range of supermarkets, gyms, parks, and Walthamstow high street with its vibrant market.
If this sounds of interest, feel free to get in touch and we can chat! I have flexibility as it’s my own place and for me it’s about finding the right fit.
Sarah 😊
