November–December Sublet In Walworth (Zone 1/2)

I’m going away for two months to Lapland to stage manage an immersive theatre show, so I’m subletting my single room in Walworth, just by Elephant & Castle and Kennington stations - great transport links and a fantastic area.

The room is fully furnished with a comfy bed, desk, and wardrobe. You’ll share a bathroom (with both a bath and shower!) with just one other person.

The house has:
- a beautiful, spacious kitchen and dining area
- a cosy living room with a sofa and TV
- a garden

The house is just off East Street Market, which means very affordable fruit and veg right on your doorstep. The area is fantastic - 5 minutes away there’s an independent bakery and coffee shop that does the best sourdough, and it’s only a 30-minute walk to Waterloo or Tower Bridge.

You’d be living with two wonderful housemates:

Luke is doing his PhD in Neuroscience at King’s College London

Olexiy just finished his Master’s in Urban Development at LSE and is applying for jobs

Both are friendly, considerate, and easy-going (ages late thirties and early forties).

We’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and communicative who will care for the house and step in for the weekly cleaning rota of the communal areas while I’m away.

Rent: £800/month (bills included)
