A large en suite is available in our lovely house in the Elephant & Castle/Kennington/Camberwell/Walworth area. Ideal move in date is early March to align with when we pay rent (some flexibility possible)

The house
- A lovely three storey Victorian house with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a bright and spacious living room, kitchen and a patio.
- The room is a very large double with an adjacent large bathroom which you have to yourself. The room is on the lower ground floor but both the room and bathroom have large windows so it's nice and light/airy - you have this floor to yourself, the other 2 tenants are on the first floor.
- The total rent is £1117.20 a month plus bills which come to about £150/month.
- Our landlord is super lovely and we have direct contact with him, rather than going through the estate agent. We only use the estate agent for the contract signing every year.
- Contract wise, we renew every year with whoever is the in the house and the estate agent (Dexters) allows people to swap in and out during the tenancy so this is enduring contract

The area
We are on a quiet street just off Walworth Road - just 10 min walk from Kennington tube (northern line), 15 min walk to elephant and castle tube (northern and bakerlooline) and the overground and can easily walk/bus to Camberwell, Brixton, Peckham and central London! Within five minute walk there are 3 supermarkets, a gym, all the shops you could need and Burgess Park.

The Housemates
- It's a house for 3 so you'll be sharing with 2 others.
- Mell is a 30 year old civil servant who works from home 2 days a week and has been in the house for just over 2 years.
- Brogan is a 31 year old Education Consultant who works from home 3-4 days a week
- We are looking for someone who is clean, tidy, respectful of space but also down for getting to know each other and hanging out - the house has a really lovely friendly, homey vibe so looking for someone who will help keep that!
- We love having a TV series on the go to watch together (just finished watching The Traitors!!!), wine nights, cooking together, gym, cycling, cold water swimming (if you're brave enough) etc.

Points to note
- No students, no couples, no smoking
- If you have a bike you must be willing to keep it outside as the landlord does not allow bikes in the house.
- You must be in full time employment and work a Monday-friday job
- Not suitable for full time WFH, must be in the office some days.

Next steps
- We would like to do viewings around 4/5th Feb but we have some flex.
- Once we have found someone we will ask for a small holding deposit and then put you in contact with the estate agent (Dexters) who will carry out checks and references etc
