Spacious, fully furnished double room available in a 2-bedroom flat in the Walworth/Elephant & Castle area (Zone 1). Suitable for one person only.

The flat is approximately a 15-minute walk from Elephant & Castle Underground station (Northern and Bakerloo lines). You can also take a bus, although the journey takes about the same amount of time. Kennington Underground station (Northern line) is also around a 15-minute walk away, and Camberwell is within easy reach.

There are plenty of shops nearby, including Lidl, Iceland, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Boots, all around a 6-minute walk away on the high street. A gym is also nearby, and Burgess Park is within walking distance.

I'm looking for a clean, tidy, reliable and respectful full-time working professional who can keep shared spaces clean and tidy.

The room is fully furnished and comes with its own fridge and kettle. The bathroom is shared.

I am the only other occupant of the flat and work mainly from 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays.

The room is available immediately, although the ideal move-in date would be from the second week of August, as my best friend and her partner will be staying with me for a week before then.

The rent is £1,000 per month, plus approximately £100 per month for bills. No deposit is required. The flat also has fast, reliable broadband. (Council tax band: C)

Guests are welcome from time to time, provided they are respectful, don't stay over frequently, and don't cause a nuisance.
