Description
I am looking for a late 20s-30 something to join me in our wonderful home in Wandsworth. My current flatmate is moving in with her partner and leaving London.
The house is well placed between both Earlsfield and Wandsworth town train station, with bus links pretty much on our doorstep. Southfields tube station is a short 20 minute walk away and putny bridge a quick bus ride.
Southside shopping centre and a big Sainsbury's is a short walk from the house, in addition to lots of little shops and restaurants on both the wandsworth and earlsfield side.
The area is quiet and safe, mainly made up of families, well lit and just far enough back from the main road that you sometimes forget you're in London. We have lived here for 3 years without any issues re: the area or the neighbours.
The rent is £850 per month without bills. Electric, WiFi, water and council tax come to £140 at present. We are on a standard tariff for electric meaning that it is not dependant on usage and we often get a refund at the end of the year if we have underpaid- so no need to worry about putting the heating on in the winter!
The room: it's medium sized (enough for furniture with space still free to move around in). The room currently has a desk/bed/wardrobe/book case and chest of drawers in addition to lots of storage trolleys etc if this helps give more of an idea of the space. The room does come unfurnished with the exception of the wardrobe.
As I am remaining some of the other furniture in the house will remain.
About me: I work in mental health at a university and consider myself easy going and non-judgemental. I respect others space and really enjoy keeping a home as a safe place. I have family/friends outside of London so visit them on the occasional weekend. When I'm not at work I'm normally picking up a new and short lived hobby- I'm currently in my reading era, or just relaxing and looking after myself at home.
I'm looking for someone who is like minded and who also would like to have a home rather than just a houseshare. Someone who is 100% cool with doing their own thing but who also likes to have a chat on the sofa or go for a coffee 😊.
The house is let through dexters who will need to complete reference checks prior to your move- in.
