### Small Double Room – Wandsworth / Clapham

I’m looking for a friendly, sociable housemate to join me in my home in Wandsworth from early October.

The house is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac and has a lovely **south-facing garden**, while still being really well connected to Clapham, Wandsworth and Balham.

* Around a **20–25 minute walk to Clapham Junction**
* Around **10 minutes to Wandsworth Common Overground**
* Around **20 minutes to Balham and Tooting Underground**
* Wandsworth Common is only about a **5-minute walk away**
* Near Wandsworth Prison / The County Pub
* Local shop, breakfast spot and pub all within around **5 minutes' walk**

The room is a **small double bedroom** and comes furnished with:

* Double bed
* Bedside table
* Clothes rail
* Small TV

The house has a shared kitchen, living room and bathroom, which would only be shared with me.

💷 **£800 per month including bills**

A little about me

I’m a 27-year-old Northern girl who lived in London for the past 3 years & works within the legal system. I’m pretty laid-back and have my own social life and activities outside of the house. I work from home around 2–3 days a week, so I’m around fairly often, but I’m definitely not someone who expects to be joined at the hip!

I’m also a big music lover and will often have music playing around the house, whether I’m cooking, getting ready or just pottering about. So if you’re someone who enjoys having a bit of music and atmosphere in the house, even better!

I’m looking for someone who is social, fun and friendly — ideally someone who actually wants to live with a housemate rather than just rent a room. I’m always happy to go for a drink, grab dinner, watch something together or have a night out, and I’d love someone who is up for doing the same occasionally.

At the same time, I completely appreciate having your own space and life — I just don’t want it to feel like we’re living with complete strangers.

I’m clean and tidy and would ideally like someone who is the same but looking at hiring a weekly cleaner! The house is slightly tired, overdue for some new carpets, and a paint job and the room is small but this is reflected in the price of the room & you're free to make use of the communal spaces as much as you like and add whatever personal pouches you'd like to the room.

The room would **initially be for around 2 months**, as I’m currently unsure whether I’ll be ending my lease on the property. However, if it works well for everyone and we’re both happy, there is the possibility of staying for longer.
