Double room in Wandsworth Town

We’re looking for a lovely new housemate to join our sociable household in the heart of the Tonsleys! 💛

A short walk to Old York Road and The Alma pub
10-minute walk to Wandsworth Common and Southside, with Sainsbury’s, Lidl, loads of shops and the Kings Arms pub

🛏️ The room & house
The room is a double with a built-in wardrobe, located on the second floor next to Fenella’s room. I’ll be leaving the chest of drawers, bedside table, wall ladder, desk and chair for free — you’ll just need your own bed and mattress!

The room is accessed via the shared bathroom that Fenella and I use. It might sound a little unusual, but honestly, it’s never been an issue for us, and as it’s only shared between two people, it works absolutely fine!

🫶 Your housemates
You’d be living with Hannah, Bex and Fenella, who are all lovely! Hannah works as a host for a UHNW family, Bex works in property and Fenella works at Tom’s Trunks. They're all office-based Monday–Friday, although Bex occasionally works from home.

We’re a sociable house and love cooking and eating dinner together, cheeky dinner parties, pub trips, running, walks and the occasional night out. We all have our own lives, but love having a home where everyone gets along and enjoys spending time together.

We also have Lilo, our lovely little dachshund 🐶, so you must be happy living with a dog!

Ideally, we’re looking for a female aged 27–31 to keep a similar age range and vibe in the house.

💸 Costs
Rent: £950pcm
Bills: £116.26pcm
Cleaner: approx. £13 every three weeks
Change over fee on tenancy: £50
Deposit: £1,150

🏠 A note on the house being on the market
Just to be transparent, the house is currently on the market, but there’s no certainty it will sell. Our lovely landlord will only sell if he gets the right price, which may be difficult in the current market. If it doesn’t sell, the tenancy will continue on a rolling basis as normal. If it does sell, the relevant notice will be given in line with the tenancy agreement and legal requirements. We love living here and didn’t want this to put you off, but wanted to be upfront!
