I have a double bedroom available in a 2-bed flat from August 10th for a long term lease. The flat is in lovely West Hampstead, sharing with me and my cat Jenkins. The location is superb, with great public transport & local amenities. The street is a one-way, leafy green tree-lined road. The flat is filled with light, with an open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The house is furnished but the bedroom is unfurnished, with the option to buy my housemate’s bedroom furniture if you’d like to keep it.

- 10min walk to the ThamesLink (with direct trains to Luton Airport & St Pancras Eurostar for easy vacations)
- 15min walk to the Lioness line.

🛍️🏡 Local amenities: The flat is situated perfectly between bougie West End Lane and affordable Kilburn High Road, so there’s plenty of options for supermarkets & cafes. There’s a tennis court at the park just at the end of the street.

😸🐈 Furry friend: I have a cat named Jenkins, who is very chatty and loves a cuddle. He talks a lot, especially when he’s hungry in the morning so if you’re easily woken this might not be the right flat for you. I’m looking for a housemate who loves cats, and would be happy to feed him when I’m away on holidays. In return he will provide ample cuddles, and he loves a belly rub.

🚴🏻‍♂️🧗🏻✈️🚑 About me: I’m 29 years old, queer, and work as a Paramedic. I’m originally from Australia, and moved to London 3 years ago for work. In my spare time I love being active & doing lots of different sports including rock climbing, cycling, swimming, and roller skating. When I’m not doing something sporty, I love to travel, bake sweet treats, go to the theatre, and explore new cafes & restaurants with friends. As a paramedic, I work a combination of early/late/night shifts, so I’m in and out at odd hours.

❓🙋About you: I’m looking to share with someone long-term, so would like someone easygoing, who will love having Jenkins around. I like to be friends with whoever I’m living with, while still having our own space. My current housemate and I do movie nights, walk to the supermarket together, and catch up in the living room usually chatting about our love lives. I like the place to feel warm and welcoming.

🏡 Why the room is available: my current housemate has loved living here but is moving in with a friend in a share house that’s a bit more in their budget. West Hampstead rents can be pricey, but I love the area so much it’s absolutely worth it for me.

Furniture: the house is furnished but the room comes unfurnished. My current housemate is selling their bedroom furniture, so it will be available to purchase if you’d like to keep it in the room.
