Description
I'm sad to be leaving this beautiful room but moving in with my partner as a new adventure!
The large double room is on the first floor, with huge windows that let in natural light, overlooking the street for ideal people watching - that being said, the street is nice and quite with families and couples walking past. The room comes unfurnished but as you can see is large enough for work from home, a reading chair, and a big TV with room to spare! Its honestly been such a bargain.
Looking for someone to move in end of October (25th-31st)
The three storey house itself is big. The cosy lounge has a huge communal TV and recliner seats. We have a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and another separate toilet. The back garden is well kept and green, with some outdoor furniture to enjoy the sunshine.
Bills are not included and are split equally between the flatmates. Bills + council tax never reach more than £110 a month in the dead of winter and less than £100 in summer.
The housemates are a very friendly, tidy and low maintenance bunch. Professionals, some working from home; happy to watch a movie together or hit the pub for a drink, but with no obligations.
A bit about them:
Darcy works full time remote in recruitment and hobbies are gym and pub, not necessarily in that order. Also has a cat which lives mostly in her room or in the garden but may appear from time to time in the house
Anna is an architect who enjoys hiking, painting and live music.
Jordan is a film buff, enjoys tennis and has been in the flat for quite some time now so has good recs on the area.
Caitlin is a preschool teacher who moved the UK 3 years ago from Pennsylvania and likes to travel, go to gigs, and explore London in general
The location is well connected with buses to Brixton, Waterloo, Euston, small walk to Tulse Hill station for Thameslink and is only a couple mins walk from the West Norwood train station for Southern train to Victoria/London Bridge/Crystal Palace.
West Norwood hight street has it covered, cafes and restaurants, gift shops, health stores, take aways of all sorts, even a B&Q!
Council Tax Band: F
