Great transport links. Very close to Westferry Station (DLR, all lines into Bank and Tower Gateway / 5-10 min walk), Mile End (Central, District and Hammersmith & City lines / 15 min walk or short bus ride) and Canary Wharf (Elizabeth line / 10 min walk, Jubilee Line / 20 min walk or short bus ride). Situated just off Burdett Road / Commercial Road, with great amenities in the local area: pubs, restaurants, parks, canals, the river, leisure centres, supermarkets and a handy Royal Mail office, all within 5 minutes or so walk. All the facilities of Canary Wharf are also within an easy walk: bars, restaurants, gyms and a cinema.

Rent includes council tax, water, phone line rental, broadband and TV license. Gas and electricity are extra, according to flat usage. We can also discuss splitting the cost of a cleaner. Good references and clear UK credit history required.

Flexible availability, but the rooms are almost ready for occupancy in a week or so, after a complete flat refurbishment. Looking for tidy, considerate but sociable professionals. Sorry - no couples, no smokers and no agents or landlord services.

That was the good news. Here's the bad news - I'm the live-in landlord. I have a couple of rooms and a bathroom downstairs in an annex. It's not self-contained, so I will be sharing the communal facilities. But I live part-time on the south coast, and when I am in London, I'm often in the office during the day, and out with friends after work. My sons will come to stay occasionally but, again, we'll often be out, or mostly stay in my rooms downstairs. I know it's not ideal living with a landlord, but 1. I'm not that kind of landlord, 2. I won't always be around, 3. It means that any maintenance gets done quickly and well as it's also my home.
