I am advertising a double bedroom in a beautiful, recently converted Willesden Green flat. This ground-floor property has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large shared living room, kitchen and dining area, a private garden with direct access from the living room, and a home office. The flat is a very large living space for 2 people, and has a serene, peaceful atmosphere with modern décor. It's located in a leafy, residential street less than five minutes’ walk to Willesden Green tube station, shops, cafés and restaurants. There is easy access to central London (15 minutes on the Jubilee Line). We are between Gladstone Park and Queen’s Park, each around a 20-25 minute walk; it’s also possible to take a 5 minute bus to Queen’s Park. Parking is not available at the property or via permit. The flat is in council tax band E.

The monthly rent is £1100, which includes all bills and a fortnightly cleaner.

You’ll be sharing the flat with me, a 29-year-old woman. I work as a part-time tutor and creative writing club facilitator, and am a writer, performer and theatre=maker. I am ideally looking to live with a woman/minority gender person but possibly open to living with a man if it feels like a good fit. I have been living here for four years, and lived with three people across that time period. I'm keen for whoever moves in to ideally be someone I get on with and can hang out with as friends for the odd shared meal/ drink or TV show, while also each having the space to do our own thing. I like cooking, movies, reading and really enjoy anything creative. There's also 2 guitars at home you can play if you like! I have ME/CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome), so I'm into more lowkey pastimes atm and spend more time at home than out, but I like going for drinks sometimes, gigs & queer community events.
