Here is a delightful Edwardian semi-detached house just off Wimbledon Town Centre / Broadway.

There is a fully furnished double bedroom available.

It has a large double wardrobe, a night table as well as a desk / console table and a chair.
Mattress and bed linen is provided (even towels if desired), so no need to buy anything.
The bedroom is on the first floor, towards the rear. It is quiet and the window view is on the south facing garden.
The bathroom is just outside the bedroom. It has a shower-bath and would be mostly yours (except, for example, if someone wants to take a bath).

The house is rather large with 4 (bed)rooms and 3 bathrooms, 1 large sitting room and 1 large kitchen-diner. It has just been refurbished and decorated to high standards.
Of note, despite the 4 bedrooms, there would be only you, me and one more house mate at some point.
The large kitchen-diner has a lovely garden view and is perfectly suited to your cooking and baking ambitions!
The comfortable sitting room is to share.

The house has all modern amenities, including washing machine, dryer, traditional and microwave ovens, etc.
There is bicycle storage, and a large terrace and a garden.
The house is in outstanding condition and I would like to keep it that way.

Transportation:
The house is ideally located between Wimbledon and South Wimbledon stations.
* South Wimbledon (Northern Line to City & West End; night tube) (7 mins walk)
* Wimbledon train station (District Line, Overground, Thameslink, and also Tram to Croydon) (10 mins walk)
* Various local buses

Wimbledon town centre is a safe & pleasant location with supermarkets nearby (M&S Food Hall, Morrison’s and Sainsbury’s by the station, and also a large Waitrose slightly further away), as well as convenience stores, Sainsbury's Local, Mini Waitrose, Lidle / Aldi, various pubs, restaurants, coffee places, Curzon & Odeon cinemas, Wimbledon Theatre, about 8(!) different gyms including Third Space, Nuffield, Virgin gyms, The Gym Group, PureGym, Anytime Fitness, etc.

There are a couple of smaller public gardens around. Wimbledon Commons, London's 2nd largest parkland, are accessible by foot and by bus. Richmond Park is also not too far for a lovely walk or bicycle tour.

About the landlord
Besides work, I enjoy playing tennis, reading, gardening, weekend trail cycling and board games. I tend to watch very little television.
Please note I am live-in landlord and I care a lot about the house, its quiet and tidiness.
No more than 3 rooms would be used.
I am a 48 year old gay professional.

I am looking for a very considerate, clean and tidy house mate:
- Preferably quiet
- Non-smoking
- House-trained and actively helping on cleaning (to a reasonable extent)
- Someone who appreciates a lovely home and would also truly care about the home, the furniture, helping water the plants, keeping the sink clean, etc.

Please note there is no cleaner. This is not a serviced flat where dirt is left behind for a cleaner to come later, but a household and home to enjoy responsibly.
Rent is all inclusive and paid in advance.
