Description
Hello! We are looking for a new housemate to join our fab friendly house in Wood Green. Our current housemate is moving in with their partner and we’ll be very sad to see them go!
The room is a very decent size with high ceilings and on the first floor.
The House:
The house is big enough that we never really feel on top of each other, with an eat in kitchen, living room, a small room we use to dry laundry and a lovely back garden (great for autumn campfire season). We’re just a 10min walk from loads of great amenities: Wood Green Tube station, Alexandra Palace Station, Ally Pally park, great pubs, gym, cinema, and various shops in the Wood Green Shopping Mall.
Us:
We are a friendly, creative bunch pushing the mid side of early 30s. We all have varying non 9-5 schedules, a touch of 'yes-and' spirit; equal parts social and independent, but are invested in the house as a whole. We like to have occasional flat meals, the odd family outing or pub trip. We’re the sort of people that are genuinely interested in each others lives and like hanging out together. We like to chat while having a coffee in the kitchen and hope you would too, but also give each other space when they’ve had a busy day and need some time to cook on their own.
As for the space itself - since we are all still holding out for a lottery win to buy our own house - we treat this house as our long-term house. We’re all very invested in making sure the space is a proper home to live in, and as such, we keep the house clean and tidy, have a very chill atmosphere, and are always looking for ways to improve the space. (we welcome your enthusiasm in this department!)
You’ll be joining Vincent (he/him) actor/videographer/barista who regularly steals pastries and sourdough from his work place for the greater good of the house, Tech Savvy Josh (he/him), Singer turned editor and bit of a nintendo nerd, and Emily, theatre freelancer often found covered in paint and making then cancelling all exercise plans.
You?: We’re hoping for an equally friendly person to join our little gang. We’d ideally like someone who is creative or understanding of the freelance life, and has an awareness of what it takes to live in a shared environment!
If that all sounds good, please do send us a little bit about yourself and we can arrange a viewing.
